Getting here
New York is served by three major airports, LaGuardia (LGA) being the closest, followed by JFK and Newark (EWR). Taxis and shuttles are widely available at the airports to bring you to your hotel.
Tips for finding the best deals on airfare
- Set up a fare alert at kayak.com, farecast.com, and/or orbitz.com. Fare alerts can deliver the current airfare to you via e-mail everyday, making sure you don't miss any deals, which often last only a day or two.
- Be patient, discount fares often go on sale within three months before the flight. So deals on airfare for July are more likely to happen after mid-April. Within three months of your flight, farecast.com can predict if it's a good time to buy your tickets.
- If possible, search with flexible dates. If you're not locked into coming on Friday and leaving Sunday, consider searching for fares arriving earlier and/or leaving later. Fares in the days before and after a weekend tend to be less expensive.

Getting around during the wedding
Transportation will be provided from The Verve hotel and the Metropolitan Building to the church, leaving from both places promptly at 6:30pm.
Transportation will also be provided immediately following the ceremony to the reception at The Metropolitan Building.
Transportation will not be provided at the end of the reception. Phone numbers for car services will be posted at the reception. When ready to leave, you may call and arrange for a car to pick you up from the reception to drive you back to your hotel, please plan accordingly.
We encourage all of our guests to use the provided transportation to the church and reception. If you plan on driving, please allow extra time to find street parking around the church prior to the ceremony. There are two municipal parking lots not far from the church if street parking is unavailable. Street parking is ample around The Metropolitan Building.

Getting around NYC
The Verve hotel is conveniently located two blocks from the subway. We recommend our guests to use the subway to get around the city during your stay. If you plan on seeing the sights and using the subway often, the MTA offers a 1-day unlimited MetroCard for $8.25 or a 7-day unlimited card for $27. These cards offer the best value and work on both busses and subways.
